Greetings Chinook Middle School Community,
Our students have been showing incredible school spirit as we celebrate Spring Spirit Week! It’s been great to see the creativity and positive energy throughout the building.
We’ll close out the week with an ASB Spirit Assembly on Friday afternoon (please see the special bell schedule linked above in the “Important Dates” section). The assembly will be a fun way for us to gather as a school community and recognize the pride, teamwork, and student leadership that make Chinook special!
Here’s a reminder of our remaining Spirit Week themes:
- Wednesday – Rivalry Day: Grab a friend and dress as a famous duo of rivals—think McDonald’s vs. Burger King or Taylor Swift vs. Kanye!
- Thursday – Soccer Mom vs. BBQ Dad: Choose your look—whether it’s an athletic outfit fit for carpool and snacks, or full-on backyard grilling vibes.
- Friday – Class Color Day:
- 6th Grade – Yellow
- 7th Grade – White
- 8th Grade – Blue
- Staff – Green
Thank you to our amazing ASB students and advisors for organizing a fun week full of community and connection. I look forward to seeing our Kodiak pride at Friday’s assembly!
Best regards,
James Peterson
